The Ten Best Anime Series that I have ever seen

Miaka is a high school student who travels to a mysterious world through a book called the “Universe of the Four Gods”. She embarks on a journey to find the Suzaku Seven to grant her wishes.

The show is well known for its love story between Miaka and Tamahome.

The main characters in this story are Miaka, Yui, The Suzaku Seven, The Seiryuu Seven, Nakago and Keisuke.

I like how this anime deals with difficult topics such as transgender legitimacy and rape.

It has an open romance among the main characters that feel authentic as the story progresses.

Plus I was rooting for Miaka and Tomohome to win and live together in happiness.

Both the Seiryuu and The Suzaku seven are composed of memorable characters.

The show has a good mixture of comedic and serious moments.

The story is engaging until the very end.

I remember watching the OVA’s after finishing the anime. I rarely watch OVAs after finishing an anime usally because of lack of interest. This means that Fushigi Yuugi had such a great story that once it ended I wanted more.

My favorite moment in this show is either Nuriko’s death scene and the anime’s ending.

The show has a good mixture of comedic and serious moments.

I got into the story and enjoyed the subject matter.

I learned to never give up on family, friends or a significant other.

This anime is for anyone who wants to watch a story with memorable characters and eye-opening scenes.

Major follows our main character named Goro and his journey from little league to the major leagues playing baseball.

The show is well known for its epic baseball games and the drama that goes into forming teams and intense training.

The main characters include Gorou, Toshiya, Mayumara, and Kaoru Shimizu.

I love the comradery between Goro and all his teammates.

This show is unique because it follows Gorog’s life from childhood to fatherhood. Most shows, by comparison, tend to focus on one part of a character’s life.

Gorou and Kaoru are one of the best couples in anime.

I love baseball and appreciate the accurate portrayal of it in this show. It even includes anime versions of legendary Japanese players Ichiro Suzuki and Hideki Matsui.

It has epic baseball games.

Despite shows like Diamond no Ace, and One Outs Major still rains as the top baseball anime.

It taught me to work hard and be yourself.

This anime has something for everyone if you give it a chance.

An organization call Hellsing which fights against the supernatural has to face off against the catholic church and the millennium forces.

The show has a unique art style and a character named Alucard who is one of the most badass characters of all time.

The main characters include Alucard, Seras, Indra, The Major, and Alexander Anderson.

It has some of the best gore in all anime.

The main antagonist is zombie nazis how badass is that?

Alucard’s fights with the millennium forces are aesthetically pleasing and epic.

Alexander Anderson is such a cool character.

My favorite thing about this show is Alucard.

My favorite moment in the series is when Alucard goes all out and shows his true power.

Easily one of the best vampires animes and has one of the most unforgettable art styles.

All episodes are great with no wasted time.

It taught me to run away from a church if I see a man with a red coat and hat entering it while holstering two guns.

For the gore and horror fans out there, this anime is a must-watch.

This show is famous for its drawn-out fights and intense transformation.

The main characters include Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Gohan, Krillin, Chi-chi, Bulman, Frieza, Trunks, Cell and Majin Buu.

I love the training that the characters go through and seeing their new forms and abilities that come from it.

Vegeta and Bulma’s romance was a pleasant surprise in this show.

I love all the transformations from the villains and of course the Saiyans.

The epic fights are so memorable and awesome.

My favorite thing about this anime is the villains and how each one outdoes the next.

Akira did a great job of creating evil and uniquely design villains.

My favorite moment is when Gohan went super Saiyan two against Cell.

It is the king of the shounen anime and reinvented the genre. This anime has inspired so many other great shows to this date.

It has some of the best hand to hand fights of all time.

The transformations are still awesome to watch years later.

There is such a large expansive universe consisting of the prequel show dragon ball, endless films and two alternative sequels.

It taught me to never give up and keep training to go one step beyond.

This anime has simple lessons and will motivate even the laziest of anime fans to work hard and achieve their goals.

Okabe and his laboratory assistances spend their days inventing gadgets and fighting against the organization.

The show is famous for its unique members of the future gadget laboratory and its take on time travel.

The main characters include Okabe, Kurisu, Mayuri, Daru, Ruka, and Suzuha.

I love all the people who get recruited to work for the lab.

This show’s form of time travel is unique and its explanation never went over my head.

I like the show’s portrayal of the horrific and unintended consequences of time travel.

The show’s second half is amazing.

The opening intro grew on me.

Okabe and Kuriso’s romance was always an incentive to keep watching.

My favorite thing about this anime is the relationship between all the characters.

My favorite moment is when the group finds out who Suzuha’s father was.

This anime blew me away, it is the best example of how impactful a short anime can be

It is a very simple story and goes way beyond the time-traveling aspect of the show.

It taught me to recognize that actions have consequences and so consider that when making decisions regardless of how big or small they might appear.

This anime has an excellent story that will make anyone watching think hard about the choices they made in their life.

Seven children in Summer camp are transported to another world called the digital world. They each partner with a Digimon and together they fight against evil Digimon to save the digital world.

This show is famous for its English opening and digivolutions. It also had a brief rivalry with Pokémon.

The main group consists of Tai, Matt, TK, Sora, Mimi, Izzy, Joe, and Kari.

I love how all the kids grow up in this show and how that growth affects their bond with their Digimon.

The fights in the show are great and the best part is the digivolutions before the fight starts.

All the villains are memorable especially the dark masters.

The bond between the Digimon and the Digidestines is my favorite thing about the show.

My favorite scene is when Angemon digivoled into Magnaangemon to defeat Piedmon(this always gives me goosebumps).

Digimon for me is what Pokémon was for most young kids.

It was the first anime that I took very seriously as a child thus it had a strong impact on my life

I will still to this day consume anything that is Digimon related including the recent renaissance of games and the new series that came out.

It taught me to trust my friends and never underestimate teamwork. Also, it is important to not be afraid to ask others for help.

This is a great show for children that has really good life lessons.

It has awesome battles and the Digimon are so unique in their design.

Lelouch who is of royal bloodlines hides in Japan and is striving for two things.

The first is to find out who killed his mother and the second is to create a world where Nunally his sister can live in peace.

The show is famous for the introduction to Geass which is a unique power. For Lelouch, it grants him the ability to command people to do his bidding.

The mechs specifically the Lancelot and the Guren mark two are both easily recognizable among anime fans.

The main characters include Lelouch, Nunally, Suzaku, Euphemia, Ribble, Shirley, Kallen, and CC.

The mechs are cool and their evolution is really cool part of the anime.

It is always interesting to see what lengths Lelouch will go to achieve his goals.

The first opening in the show is iconic.

The ending is amazing and considered the best among all anime.

My favorite part of the story is the many physical and mental battles between Lelouch and Suzaku.

Lelouch commands the entire world to obey him was my favorite scene in the show.

Code Geass is a great story about a political uprising.

It has complex and ambiguous characters and it’s not clear at some points who are the villains and the heroes.

The Geass and the science behind it are very interesting.

I learned to understand what is important in life and nothing great ever came from selfishness but rather a great sacrifice.

Ichigo Kurosaki is a Death God and must battle other Death Gods, Hollows, Bounts, and Quinces to save his friends and the world.

The show is famous for its incredible fights and its large amount of filler arcs.

The main characters include Ichigo, Orihime, Chad, Uryu, Kisuke, Yoruichi, and Rukia.

The characters are different and there are so many that it is easy to find someone to resonate with.

The fights are excellent especially the transformations and the special attacks.

The villains are great and very memorable.

The universe of Bleach is vast and fun to learn about.

When Ichigo transformed into a Vasto Lorde, that became my favorite moment in the show.

The anime’s presentation is having both great animation and one of the best OSTs in any anime.

It is the first major anime that I watched and got me into mainstream anime.

The anime is very addicting that each episode when by fast and it always made me want to watch the next one.

I am always coming back to this show one way or another.

I learned from this show to be yourself and stand strong.

It is important to be there for your friends and family.

Alphonse and Edward of the Elric brothers travel throughout the country of Amestris in search of a philosopher stone which is their only way to getting their bodies back.

The anime is known for its portrayal of alchemy and is considered one of the greatest animes of all time.

The main characters are Edward, Alphonse, Winry, Roy, Riza, Scar, Hughes, King Bradley, Father, Greed, and Louis.

The openings of this show are my favorite of any anime.

Each homunculus is unique and it is clever how they each tie into the seven deadly sins.

The romances of Winry x Edward and Roy x Riza add some nice flavor to this masterpiece.

Edward and Alphonse’s journey never gets old in this show.

The characters subtly grow throughout the show, it’s rewarding to notice it.

This show is about brotherhood.

Each of the different groups consists of people who come together by the unlikeliest of circumstances and work together to defeat a common foe.

Mustang vs lust was my favorite moment but any fight could have gone here.

You cannot have a top ten anime list without including the GOAT.

This show is an achievement in everything that makes a great story.

It has great characters, fantastic art, great battles, and a fantastic story.

It taught me to go through life and never stop fighting.

This is one of the best animes out there.

Words cannot do it justice it needs to be experienced.

Doctor Tenma a respected neural surgeon needs to atone for his sins by hunting down a serial killer named Johan.

This show is famous for Johan who is the series, main antagonist.

The main characters include: Johan, Tenma, Eva, Anna, Grimmer, Lunge, Roberto, and Dieter

This is one of the only shows that does not show the main protagonist all the time without adversely affecting the show.

The art style is realistic resulting in normal looking characters.

Each character is unique and is an excellent case study.

Tenma breaks the mold of how conventual heroes are portrayed in fiction.

There so many great side stories that take place alongside the plot.

Tenma’s journey to finding Johan is the show’s best aspects.

It is throughout this journey that he meets so many unique characters and travels to fascinating places.

I love the picnic that Grimmer and Tenma share.

It is my favorite anime of all time.

I was hooked from episode one until 74.

It was different from anything else when I first watched it.

Johan is my favorite anime villain of all time.

This show has so many deep philosophical ideas that are ingrained in the story.

Tenma taught me that tomorrow will be a better day and no matter how bad things get to keep moving forward.

Oh, and stay away from Prague.
