The government is doing this in order to recreate Akira. One of these test subjects is Tetsuya a member of a motorcycle gang. Tetsuya goes under these experiments and consequently his psychic powers increase.

In due time things escalate out of control resulting in a series of events that hard to explain. Thus you need to see it to understand.

Why is Akira One of My Favorite on Tubi TV?

Akira animation which is over 32 years still is amazing. Despite this, I still find something new every time I watch it.

The film says a lot about our culture by using the show not tell approach. There are so many iconic scenes in this movie that are still talked about to this day.

All in all, Akira is still one of the best animated movies ever made. The story is fantastic involving the moral ambiguity of Tetsua’s actions and his desire to be in charge.

Fyi people who play Duel Monsters are called duelists and when two duelists play Duel Monsters it is called a duel.

Yugi is determined to help the Pharaoh find out about his past and learn his name. Along that way, they will duel fellow duelists to achieve the title of King of Games.

Why is YuGiOh Duel Monsters One of My Favorite Anime on Tubi TV?

YuGiOh was a major part of my childhood, teenage, and now adulthood. The game itself is something that I still indulge from time to time.

Much like Bleach, I owe a lot to this card game and anime.

The story itself is crazy and it’s actually hard to believe that the world hangs on the balance of children’s cards game.

Even though the 4KIDS English Dub of YuGiOh is on Tubi Tv I still recommend it. In the first place it was part of my childhood.

Additionally, you can still appreciate the show if you look past certain things.

In addition, Spike is looking for Julia his lost love, and is always on the lookout for Vicious.

The other characters have dubious pasts as well and we learn more as the series progresses.

Each episode is a self-contained story with some care over from previous episodes.

Why is Cowboy Bebop One of My Favorite Anime on Tubi TV?

Cowboy Bebop has a small cast of characters which makes it easy to connect to everyone.

Additionally, we get to really know these people as the story progresses.

It allowed you to get to know everyone on a personal level. Each episode is amazing and really bring this futuristic world to life.

The soundtrack is amazing and one of the best in anime history. Even if you have never seen the series the theme song is something you should recognize.

What follows is a series of funny and tense moments of Sousuke juggling his mercenary and school life.

Why is Full Metal Panic! One of My Favorite Anime on Tubi TV?

This series is one of the best at mixing different genres in animes. Most people would write off the idea of combing a slice of life high school comedy with a dramatic military anime.

But this anime pulls it off so well and that alone is worth being ranked this high.

It also is funny, has great characters, and an interesting and engaging plot.

In addition, the mecha action in this anime is really entertaining.

Tthe OST is one of the best in the business.

The fights are incredible. I love the individual groups in the series and the details put into each one.

Their main case is against this character named the puppet master which is taking control of other cyborgs.

As a result we get an action pack film involving The Major.

Why is Ghost in the Shell 1995 One of My Favorite Anime on Tubi TV?

The entire film is built on the premise of what it means to be human and is someone like the major not human because she is a cyborg.

Nowadays this concept has been explored to death which such modern films as ex Machina.

But at the time that this film came out these ideas seemed fresh and inspiring.

The entire cyberpunk world of the Ghost in the Shell gives off a Blade Runner feel.

Hunter x Hunter Plot Summary

Gon is on a mission to become a hunter just like his father and also find his father who like most anime dads leaves their child.

Gon teams up with Killua, Leorio, and Kurapika along this journey.

This anime is over 148 episodes composed of many arcs.

So it’s hard to discuss everything in a summary. Suffice to say if you watch this anime you are in for a wild adventure.

Why is Hunter x Hunter One of My Favorite Anime on Tubi TV?

The story is excellent and I enjoy how the innocence of the story is deceptive.

It starts off as a typical happy Shounen anime and then it changes in a heartbeat.

The main characters are great and all have interesting backstory and motivations.

My favorite being Killua and his family of assassins who live in an open public. The villains are interesting in this anime with motivations that help you understand what they are doing this.

I love the progression of the characters in this series. Seeing Gon and Killua constantly getting stronger is satisfying especially in several fights.

Great Teacher Onizuka Plot Summary

GTO Stands for Great Teach Onizuka. It is about Onizuka a 22-year-old former gang member and martial artist who wants to become a high school teacher.

In the beginning his motivations were about getting girls but he ultimately just wants everyone to get a fair shake.

Despite having no real skills to be a teacher Onizuka manages to make his classes fun and interesting.

Each day is something different and Onizuka is always an unknown so you never know how he will respond to the situation. As a result, there is never a dull moment.

Why is Great Teacher Onizuka One of My Favorite Anime on Tubi TV?

I enjoy Onizuka’s character and how he is able to deal with some of the students’ problems in unique ways that most teachers could not.

This is due to his background because he went through similar crap in his life as well.

The anime deals with many extreme examples of student life including bullying, harassment, jealousy, romance, suicide, etc.

Even though this a comedy I never felt they made less of those issues. Despite this, the anime is quite funny especially with the funny faces Onizuka makes.

The Japanese people are angry which has resulted in constant terrorist attacks.

In this case, Kazuki goes into the sewers to stop an attack only to find a girl with a bomb.

She denotes it in front of him because he fails to pull the trigger. For not killing this girl the Kazuki goes undergoes retraining.

Along the way, a conspiracy starts to form that involves the unit he is part of. I will not say more than that because it would spoil it for you.

Why is Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade One of My Favorite Anime on Tubi TV

This is a film that I had to see twice to fully understand not because it’s terribly complex but there are certain elements that made more sense the second time around.

The armor that the characters wear is really cool especially the red eyes on the helmets. The story has surprising good romance and great twists.

I love the take on the perspective of the soldier in this anime.

Terra Formars Season 1 Plot Summary

Earth sent roaches to Mars to terraform it but the roaches (Terraformars) change and grow to the size of large humans. Additionally, they have evolved to share some intelligence with humans.

Back on Earth, there is a sickness that is killing people. The source seems to be coming from Mars and the only way to cure it is to get samples from the roaches.

So a team of humans is sent to Mars to kill the roaches and collect their corpses. But these roaches are massive and very physically too strong for a bodybuilder let alone a regular human.

To empathize with their strength a single Terraform can rip a human’s head from their shoulders and carry several humans at once with ease.

So to fight these several humans are enhanced with the power of other animals which they can become part of. This allows them to fight the Terraformers.

Why is Terra Formers Season 1 One of Your Favorite on Tubi TV

The anime has some of the most impressive gore and horror moment.

For the Terraformers faces look very close to humans and many times have these vacant expressions.

Every time one of the main characters uses their animal power the anime takes a break from the action to explain the creature. It actually goes beyond that and even mentions how this animal would fight the Terraformars.

You might think this anime is only horror and gore but it does feel-good moments.

I wrote int he beginning Season 1. Season 2 has been panned by many a step in the wrong direction.

Obviously if you want to watch it go for it but do not say I did not warn you.
